What happens after you sign
Once you click Complete and confirm, here's what to expect.
Right away
- You'll see a short confetti animation and a success message confirming your signature was recorded.
- The page stays open and switches to a read-only view of the document with your completed fields visible, along with a banner confirming signing is complete.
- If the document uses a signing order and you weren't the last signer, the banner will also let you know the next person has been notified that it's their turn.
Getting your copy of the final document
Whether you automatically receive the finished PDF depends on the sender's settings:
- If the sender left Auto-release turned on (the default), the finished document is finalized and made available as soon as everyone has signed — typically delivered by email.
- If the sender manages release manually, they'll need to release it on their end before a final copy goes out.
There isn't a Download button on the signing page itself, so if you don't receive a copy by email, contact the person who sent you the document.
Can I sign again or change my answers?
No — once you submit, the document is locked. If you reopen your signing link later, you'll land straight back on the read-only, completed view (you'll still need to accept the consent screen again, since that appears on every visit).
