Managing public signing links

Go to Public Links in the sidebar to see and manage every link you've created.

Each link shows its template, URL, status, how many people have submitted through it, and when it was created, last used, and set to expire. Status is one of:

  • Active — anyone with the link can sign.
  • Paused — you've temporarily turned it off.
  • Expired — its expiration date has passed.

Actions

  • Copy — copies the URL to your clipboard.
  • Pause — immediately stops new signers from starting through this link. Anyone already mid-signing can generally still finish. Confirm the dialog to proceed.
  • Reactivate — turns a paused link back on immediately, no confirmation needed. (You can't reactivate an expired link — you'd need to edit its expiration date first, or rotate it.)
  • Rotate — generates a brand-new URL for the same link and immediately invalidates the old one. Use this if your link ends up somewhere you didn't intend, or you just want a fresh URL. Confirm the dialog to proceed.
  • Edit — change the expiration date or the auto-release setting without affecting the URL itself.
  • View submissions — see everyone who's signed (or started signing) through this link: their name, email, when they started and finished, and a link to their document. Since duplicate submissions are allowed, the same email can appear more than once, each as its own document.
